Outlook Aero LLC was founded in 2020, following a 2018 development program led by Airborne Data Systems Inc. to create an integrated imaging and roll-out deployment solution for the Cessna Caravan.

After years of engineering and flight testing, the RollOut System demonstrated its effectiveness as a plug-and-play roll-out deployment system for ISR sensors, such as cameras and FLIRs. The project was subsequently established as Outlook Aero LLC, enabling a dedicated focus on the development, innovation, and certification of deployment systems.

Today, Outlook Aero holds an STC for the Textron C-208/208B Caravan. The RollOut System is designed to carry ISR sensors and is also engineered for integration with additional aircraft, including the Daher Kodiak 100 and 900 and the de Havilland Twin Otter, with certification efforts actively underway.

Outlook Aero continues to expand its solutions to meet the evolving needs of ISR operations worldwide.

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

The RollOut Sensor Deployment System attaches directly to the existing seat tracks and requires no structural modifications to the aircraft. The lower half cargo door is replaced with the RollOut deployment door using the original hinge pins, ensuring a seamless installation.

Once initially installed, the RollOut system and workstation can be removed or reinstalled in less than two hours. When removed, the aircraft is returned to Normal Category, with no loss of useful load. Compared to traditional belly-mounted or hard point mounted camera installations that require extensive structural alterations, and permanent empty weight change, the RollOut Sensor Deployment System offers a faster, more flexible, and cost-effective solution.
